The Month of February
February has been a whirlwind of a month. Maybe it just feels that way 'cause it is a shorter month already? I don't know. But what I do know is that it has been busy with many new and exciting adventures as well as some old adventures.
The seminary preview day was fun though odd to be in classes again. It gave me some things to pray about as well as things to consider.
I've been to a couple of campuses Western Oregon and Portland State University. As well as went to our annual Epic conference (a conference for Asian-American college students). And to end the month I go to our national conference in South Carolina.
I also got to be host to a guy that I've been getting to know since July and he was able to come out to Portland in February. We did all sorts of things around PDX area as well as the coast and the falls. It was a great weekend of meeting up with friends and introducing Doug. Here is a picture of us on the dock in Astoria, OR. Unfortunately, the fog was rolling in but I still like the picture.

I'll be a student for a day again
On Monday, I'm checking out some classes at Western Seminary specifically classes dealing with counseling and intercultural studies. It will be good to be a student again though just the thought of doing papers and research again is a little daunting.
Why check it out some of you may be asking? I think I've thought about it for years but I wasn't sure what I wanted to study. I'm still not 100% sure, but I do know that I care about ethnic issues in the states and in the world and I also care about people's view of God in the midst of living life regardless of our background.
So on Monday I'm going asking a lot of questions, open to what the Lord may have for the future though I know working in ministry, going to school, and other responsibilities could be tough... so that is why I'm just checking it out.
